Location: Resides in the Kuiper Belt, beyond the orbit of Neptune.
Composition: Composed primarily of rock and ice, with a dense core likely made of silicate materials.
Atmosphere: Has a very thin atmosphere, which may include traces of water vapor and is transient due to its low gravity.
Color: Appears reddish-brown with bright regions, attributed to the presence of crystalline water ice and other ices on its surface.
Moons: Has two known moons, Hiʻiaka and Namaka, which are thought to be captured objects and reflect Haumea's complex gravitational dynamics.
